AWWA Sections: Every Local Chapter, Linked

The American Water Works Association (AWWA) is the largest organization of water professionals in the world, and it's organized into 43 geographic Sections — what most people mean when they say AWWA "chapters." Your AWWA membership automatically includes membership in your local Section.

Sections are where the local action is: they run the annual state and regional conferences, offer operator training and continuing-education hours, award scholarships, publish local news, and connect you with other operators and utilities in your area. If you're studying for certification or looking to grow in the field, your Section is the best place to plug in.

Below are the AWWA Sections, each linked to its official website. A handful of Sections don't currently keep a working public site — for those, use the master directory linked above. Find the one that covers your state or province.

Heads up on the links: these point to each Section's own website, compiled from AWWA's official directory. Section sites occasionally change domains — if any link here doesn't resolve, the master directory at awwa.org/local-sections always has the current address.
